Merry Christmas!

This a frame-stop video I did with my camera - Matt just kept clicking and we got Wesley coming out from under the tree. He claims he's under there because of the "tats" (cats), but we have other suspicions.

Merry Christmas!

I hope you all have wonderful plans to eat, drink, and be merry! I know I will be doing 2 out of the 3.

Arboretum & the Holiday Train

The day after Thanksgiving, we took a hike in the Arboretum and visited their holiday display which is the "magical train." Wesley was mesmerized by the train, but just loved being outside gathering sticks on the Arboretum's paths.

He always finds a huge stick, even in the carrier!

Another stick!

No one wants to be taken away from the water!

Video again (larger size)

Any difference?

First Snow & Sledding (Video)

Sledding was super fun, and Wesley loved it. I'm cracking up during this entire thing - so I apologize for being annoying! - but I'm still cracking up because I left the price tag from the flea market on the sled.

Kick off to Christmas Weekend

Busy weekend as we kicked off the Christmas month with ...
Alumni Christmas party at my university ... Wesley did not want to sit on Santa's lap. No cute picture this year (unlike last year when he was adorable, and would sit with anyone).

Electric Light parade in lake Geneva
(My mom owes me the photos - but we lucked out as it wasn't too cold this year, and Wesley got to see real reindeer).

Annual Christmas Brunch at the Grand Geneva, Lake Geneva (again, when Santa and Mrs Claus came a visitin', Wesley hung on to my grandpa for dear life).

Not really Christmas related - but we spent Monday at the Field Museum. Wesley loved all the animals and having some freedom to roam.

12-week appointment

I normally wouldn't have a 12-week ultrasound picture to post, but the doppler couldn't pick up the baby's heartbeat so we had to confirm it with the ultrasound.   It showed that the baby implanted opposite where it normally does (anterior placenta) so it would make detecting a heartbeat more difficult. The baby was one active little bugger - flipping around and moving his/her arms and legs - and for the first time we saw a beautiful profile (Wesley was always in a weird position - usually head on).

Here's pictures of 12-week old Baby Freeman #2:
