My husband took this photo and surprised me with it because it turned out so nice. He loves to take great photos and show me -- I think he thinks I'm the better photo-taker, which is not the case. I just "have" the cameras.  Another vacation that Matt and I enjoyed -- the last one we took before getting pregnant with Wes.

Scenic Sunday

Waitsfield, VT - February 2009

Our trip to Vermont was one of our favorite trips; although it's so hard to really pick a favorite trip, this one was really fun. It was our first time to the Green Mountain state, and we learned how to ski together, and we stayed at a fantastic Inn where we snowshoed every day.  Just thinking about it, I can hear the Bob Newhart Show theme song playing ...

State Capitol, Madison WI - February 19, 2010

It was a great, energizing crowd. And even though I'm not a union member, it was great to be there and join the movement even if for only 1 hour (our visit to the capitol was not about protesting, but to eat good food and visit a good friend).

Another Chicago photo ... On this day, my husband and I headed into the city to pick up our baby shower gifts from his work shower. They were filming Transformers 3 that day. I was very pregnant and it was very hot, but it was a beautiful day to look UP, UP, UP.

For my first Scenic Sunday, I wanted to post a photo of our fair city -- Chicago.  This was taken October 2010, after I went to my first Bears Game with my husband.

A little background -- I'm not an avid photographer, I just like snapping photos. I have a Canon point & shoot and a Nikon SLR. This was taken with the Canon.
